Origin: Basque Country, Spain. The word tximista means lightning in Basque.
Base & Fortification: Made from a crisp Txakoli base wine, fortified with orujo (local Basque pomace brandy), and aromatized with over 80 local herbs and botanicals via a double-maceration process.
Aging: Aged for several months in old French oak barrels before bottling at 15% ABV.
Aroma: Peach, lemon, spice, and white floral notes.
Palate: Bright, refreshing acidity with a distinct coastal minerality and subtle salinity.
