Gitton bottles up to 12 site specific white Sancerres in a vintage with the "Les Montachins" cuvee coming from 3.68 hectare vineyard planted in Portlandian limestone. Aged in tank for 6 months on its lees, it is a fantastic example of what makes Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre so special. The 2024 "Les Montachins" is quite tight and steely with loads of crisp fruits and vibrant minerality. Terrific when young, but will age very well.
