Hand-harvested Roussanne grapes from the steep southwest-facing vineyard ‘Les Chateaux’ in Chignin, Savoie. Organically farmed, densely planted young vines on silty limestone soils. Carefully sorted whole clusters, delicately pressed and fermented in the tank without additions. Natural malolactic fermentation, 6-8 months aging in old barrels, minimal sulfur use.
Tasting Notes : Lifted and linear, with aromas of apricots, honeysuckle and hay.
