Campo ai Ciliegi takes its name from a small vineyard, planted in 1992, bordered on its upper and lateral borders by numerous wild cherry trees. Due to the delicate skin and the ripening period, generally in October, it is produced only in the best years.
Soil: calcareous clay, rich in marl with abundant stony skeletonAltitude and exposure: 430 m above sea level; East Average density: 4,700 vines per haVinification: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts and maceration in stainless steel tanks for at least 2 weeks with repeated pumping over Maturation: approximately 20 months in small and medium-sized oak barrels (5/25 hl) in which malolactic fermentation also takes place; followed by 6 months of refinement in the bottle.Production: 2,000 bottles
