Bojo do Luar Azal Pét-Nat is a rare, vibrant Portuguese sparkling natural wine hailing from the southeastern Vinho Verde region. Produced as a collaboration between importer Savio Soares and biodynamic viticulturist Antonio Sousa, this wine is crafted entirely from the scarce Azal grape variety. It is highly regarded for its unique amphora-fermentation process and its bright, energetic profile that natural wine enthusiasts compare to Chenin Blanc or Petit Manseng.

  • Nose: Enticing, aromatic notes of jasmine, white pepper, ginger, kiwi, and fresh pear.
  • Palate: Fresh and vibrant, featuring flavors of “orange blossom, quince, candied ginger, and white-fleshed stone fruit, complemented by a touch of salinity and gentle bubbles.”Expect a striking, mineral acidity alongside a slightly grippy, tea-like tannin structure from the extended skin contact.
