The Skerk Malvasia wine is crafted from grapes grown in Carso, a region in northwestern Italy with Slavic influences. This area is characterized by limestone-rich soils with iron deposits, as well as rocky and arid terrain. The vineyards, touched by sea breezes, are cultivated without chemicals. During production, the grapes undergo skin-contact maceration and ferment using native yeasts. The wine then ages in barrels at a controlled temperature before bottling, with no filtration or added sulfites.
