These garbanzo's are grown in the wide open plains of Montana where soil formed during the 11,000 years after the last Ice Age. As of late, drought and trying growing conditions have made the kind of regenerative farming practiced on this farm even more critical to preserving soil health.
Loved around the world, garbanzo beans (aka chickpeas) are incredibly versatile. They pair well with spices like cumin and za'atar and are great for salads, hummus, curries, dips, and snacks.
