Jeremy was walking home from the cookbook store, spotted a spice shop he'd never seen before, and came in. Somewhere between the shelves he saw the word \u003cem\u003epopcorn\u003c\/em\u003e on a recommendation card and thought: we should do something together.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eTurns out popcorn has been part of the Wine + Eggs story from the start. Back when Jeremy was bartending (which is where he and Lesley first got to know each other) the popcorn was the thing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cblockquote\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\"The room would stop when the popcorn ran out, and we'd have to run to the basement and make another double batch.\"\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003c\/blockquote\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eSo we built a blend worthy of that room: salt, nutritional yeast, honey powder, black pepper, smoked Spanish paprika, sumac, and turmeric. Savory and a little cheesy, with smoke, a whisper of honey, and a bright hit of sumac at the end. Good on popcorn, obviously.
