Wine: Jeremie Choquet 2020 Last Cow

Producer: Jeremie Choquet 2020 Last Cow

Varietal: Malbec

Region: Loire Valley, France

Weight: 750mL

ABV: 12%

Notes:   Husband and wife team, Jeremie Choquet and Blandine Floch, founded their Domaine in 2018 after they worked in France and Georgia - notably at Clos du Tue-Bœuf and Puzelat. This medium bodied wine is everything you need this spring. Vibrant with crunchy notes of cherries, subtle florality and earthiness., incredibly balanced tannins, and cool hint of fresh herbs. We recommend a very light chill for this one, and anticipate flavor development with every sip. “The cuvée’s name here echoes the interstitial nature of their geography, with “Last Cow” being a kind of homonym/pun between English and French: it is a play on the Lascaux Caves (Las-keau→ Last Cow) in Southwestern France where ancient (17,000 years old) cave paintings depict, among other things, cows.”

  • We currently ONLY ship to California CA, Arizona AZ, Nevada NV, New Mexico NM, Oregon OR, Washington WA, Idaho ID. All wine orders require an adult signature at delivery.
